Answer:

$\left \{ {{x=4(4)/(25)} \atop {y=(4)/(5)}} \right.$

Explanation:

$\left \{ {{5x-6y=16} (1)\atop {5y=4} (2)} \right.$

$\therefore y=(4)/(5)$

Substitute into equation (1)

5x-6*(4)/(5)=16

5x-(24)/(5)=16

$25x-24=80\\25x=104\\x=(104)/(25)\\=4(4)/(25)$
