4 In which one of the following cases will the distance covered and

the magnitude of the displacement are not the same? Justify.
(1) A passenger in a train travels from Delhi to Kolkata.
(ii) A raindrop falling in still air.
(iii) An athlete completes one lap in a race.

It will be (ii)

In first one the path will have turns so the distance might not be same as displacement
In second one displacement is 0 as it is a lap which is like a circle
In third one the drop of water will use the shortest path so distance will be equal to displacement
