The numerical value of x in the expression for the side length measure of the parallelogram is 6.

The figure in the image is a parallelogram.

A parallelogram is simply a quadrilateral having two pairs of parallel sides. Note that its opposite or facing sides are of equal length and the opposite angles are also of equal measure.

From the figure;

Side length WV = 7

Side length UX = x + 1

Now, since side lengths WV and UX are equal in measure, we simply equate the two side lengths and solve for x:

Side length WV = Side length UX

Plug in the values:

7 = x + 1

Now, to solve for x, subtract 1 from both sides of the equation:

7 - 1 = x + 1 - 1

6 = x

x = 6

Therefore, the value of x is 6.
