Answer:

....area = 468cm²

A = 2L*w + 2Lh + 2wh.

The ratio between the length, width and height of a cubic solid is 4:3:2.

length =4x

width =3x

height = 2x

Area = 2*4x*3x + 2*4x*2x + 2*2x*3x

Area = 24x²+16x²+12x²

Area = 52x²

Area = 468cm²

x²= 468/52=9

x= V9 = 3 or -3 (an e ling is never negative, x=3cm)

length =4x=12cm

width =3x= 9cm

height = 2x = 6cm

check the area :

2(12*9 + 12*6 + 9*6)=468cm²

Volume = length*width*height

V = 12*9*6=648cm^3
