On the left side we have 2 atoms of N, 4 of hydrogen and 2 of oxygen, on the left side we have 2 of N, we had 2 of hydrogen ans 1 of oxygen and we balanced it by adding the 2 in front of H20 this way we have 4 atoms of hydrogen ans 2 of oxygen.

Balanced Chemical Equation


NH_(4)NO_(2)_((s))\ ->\ N_(2)_((g))+2\ H_(2)O_((l))

Just put a two in front of water and that should balance out the oxygen and hydrogen.
