B is twice the value of A + 8.
(44-8) /2= A

Answer:

A= B=17.3

Explanation:

First replace A with 2B-8:

2B - 8 + B = 44

Next simplify:

3B - 8 = 44

44+8=3B

52 = 3B

B = 52/3

B= 17.3

Now find A:

2B-8=

2 x 17.3 -8=

34.6 - 8=

26.6

I hope this helps :)
