A line representing the "rise" and a line representing the "run" of the line is shown in the picture below. The slope of the line in simplest form is -2/3.

In Mathematics and Geometry, the slope of any straight line can be determined by using the following mathematical equation;

Slope (m) = (Change in y-axis, Δy)/(Change in x-axis, Δx)

Slope (m) = rise/run

Slope(m)=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

By substituting the given data points (-5, 4) and (1, 0) into the formula for the slope of a line, we have the following:

Slope (m) = (0 - 4)/(1 + 5)

Slope (m) = -4/6

Slope (m) = -2/3

In this context, we can logically deduce that the rise and run are as follows;

Rise = 4 units

Run = 6 units.

Missing information:

Draw a line representing the "rise" and a line representing the "run" of the line. State the slope of the line in simplest form.
