In the model of the earth system's organization, the biosphere should appear beside the geosphere.
What is the biosphere?
The biosphere is the global ecological system that encompasses all living things and their interactions with each other and with the non-living environment. It is a closed system which means that matter such as carbon, nitrogen, and water are constantly recycled within the biosphere, but there is little input or output of matter from outside.
Also, it provides us with the air we breathe, the food we eat, and the water we drink and it helps to regulate the climate and prevent global warming.
