HELP ME!!!!!

Solve. −n/2 + 3/8 = −6 7/8 Enter your answer as a mixed number in simplest form in the box.

You subtract the 3/8 to the other side of the equation, and since it’s negative you add it on to the 7/8 and get 10/8. Then you take a whole out and add it to the 6, giving you -7 2/8. To get rid of the 2 under the variable, you multiply it to both sides and cancel out the 2 in the fraction with the variable. You get -14 4/8 on the other side. You then simplify to - 14 1/2. To get rid of the negative on the variable you just divide both sides by -1.

Your answer should be n=14 1/2. Hope this helped.
