Length to Width ratio = 5:2

Let us take length and width as 5x and 2x respectively,

What is the perimeter of a rectangle?

The perimeter of a rectangle with length l and width b is 2(l+b).

So, the perimeter of the rectangle =2(5x+2x) =14x

It is given that

Perimeter = 98feet

14x = 98

x = 7

So, Length = 5x = 5*7 =35

Width = 2x = 2*7 = 14
