Suppose a constellation of stars is plotted on a coordinate plane. The coordinates of the first star are (–2, 4). The second star is translated down 4 units. What are the new coordinates?

Coords (-2,0)

Explanation:

Translation means moving the point in the direction that is stated by the amount stated. Down means decreasing the number value along the y-intercept. So using simple math subtract 4 by 4 and you get 0. Since we don't move the left or right which means going along the x-intercept lines. We get (-2,0)
