Mr. Harrington is setting up 4 obstacle courses at the Brookfield Middle School field day. Each obstacle course has 2 jump rope stations and 2 pogo stick stations. Mr. Harrington needs x jump ropes at each jump rope station and y pogo sticks at each pogo stick station.

Pick all the expressions that represent how many jump ropes and pogo sticks Mr. Harrington needs in all.

Mr. Harrington will need in total:

1. For jump ropes: 4 obstacle courses * 2 jump rope stations per course * x jump ropes per station = 8x jump ropes.

2. For pogo sticks: 4 obstacle courses * 2 pogo stick stations per course * y pogo sticks per station = 8y pogo sticks.

So, the expressions that represent how many jump ropes and pogo sticks Mr. Harrington needs in total are 8x and 8y.
