Answer: $17.14 profit per sweater

Step by step:

Store bought 1 sweater for 11 dollars

$197 divided by 7 = $28.14 for 1 sweater

Store sold 1 sweater for $28.14

Profit: 28.14 - 11 = $17.14

Answer: 17

Explanation:

The profit made per sweater is $17

Total numbers of sweaters bought = 7

The cost price for seven sweaters = $77

The selling price of seven sweaters = $196.

Gain or profit is attained by raising the price of goods so that consumer spending exceeds producer expenses and a sizable return on investment is left. Profit is the money that remains after expenditures and expenses have been paid.

Calculating the amount the store bought the sweaters for -

196- 77

= 119

Profit the store made per sweater -

= Total amount/ Number of sweaters

= 119/7

= 17
