The area of the ring is 65.94 square units.

How to find the shaded area?

We have a ring, for a ring of radius R and interior radius r, the area is given by:

Area = pi*(R² - r²)

Where pi = 3.14

The radius is 11 units, and the interior radius is 10 units, then the area will be:

area = 3.14*(11² - 10²)

area = 3.14*(121 - 100)

area = 65.94
