6 liters of the 50% acid, 4 liters of the 25% acid

Explanation:


.5x + .25(10 - x) = .4(10)


.5x + 2.5 - .25x = 4


2.5 + .25x = 4


.25x = 1.5


x = 6

6 liters of the 50% acid

4 liters of the 25% acid
