Equating the x and y coordinates , that is

2x + 3 = 7 ( subtract 3 from both sides )

2x = 4 ( divide both sides by 2 )

x = 2

and

7 = 3y + 1 ( subtract 1 from both sides )

6 = 3y ( divide both sides by 3 )
