The parabola with these solutions is y = x² + 18

Which quadratic equation has these solutions?

Remember that if a quadratic equation:

ax² + bx+ c = 0

Has two solutions x = h and x = k, then we can write the quadratic equation as:

y = a*(x - h)*(x - k)

Here we can take a = 1 because we don't have any restriction, and the roots are:

±3i√2, then we can write:

y = (x + 3i√2)*(x - 3i√2)

Expanding the product we will get:

y = x² - (3i√2)²

y = x² - (-9*2)

y = x² + 18
