The length of AQ is 5.7

To determine the value, we have to follow SOHCAHTOA

Using the sine identity, we have that;

sin θ = opposite/hypotenuse

Where;

  • Hypotenuse side is AQ
  • Opposite side is QP -=4cm
  • The value of the angle is 45 degrees since it is a right-angles triangle

Now, substitute the values, we get;

sin 45 = 4/AQ

cross multiply the values, we get;

AQ = 4/sin 45

AQ = 4/0. 7071

Divide the values, we get;

AQ = 5. 7cm
