D NAME: Activity: Speech Analysis Go over this short speech, and answer the questions that follow. Kuya gripped my arm as he pulled me from the water. I gasped for breath and was momentarily blinded by the sun. I could hear screaming and shouting but the saltwater of the beach hurt my eyes and I couldn't open them. My lungs were on fire; I tried to draw in breaths of cool air to quench the fire. Kuya laid me on the rough sandy shore and it was my turn to grip at his arm. I was afraid that if I'll let go, the water will take me again. I heard the thud of my cousins' feet running towards me. "Ambit, we're sorry, we're sorry! We should not have dared you to go so far from the shore!" I felt somebody wiping my face with a cool face towel. Somebody urged me to drink water from a bottle while another one shielded my face from the sun.
