The area of of this triangle, using the formula A = 1/2ab•sin(c) is 1/2*14*21*sin (88)
= 146 in^(2)

How can the area be known?

We can label the triangle as;

Angle A = 50 degree, side a =14in

Angle B = 42 degree, side a =21in

Angle C= 180-(50+42)= 88 degrees( sum of the angle in triangle)

Angle C = 88 degree, side c=?

Then given that

Area of this triangle, using the formula A = 1/2ab•sin(c)

=1/2*14*21*sin (88)=

=1/2*14*21* 0.9994=
146 in^(2)
