Answer

• Line A = 4

• Line B = (-2)

═══════════════════════

Formula of the gradient

m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

══════════════════════════

Known that

•Line A

x1 = 0

y1 = -6

x2 =5

y2 = 14

• Line B

x1 = 7

y1 = -6

x2 = -3

y2 = 14

══════════════════════════

Way to find gradient

•Line A

m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1) = (14 - ( - 6))/(5 - 0) = (20)/(5) = 4

•Line B

m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1) = (14 - ( - 6))/(( - 3) - 7) = (20)/( - 10) = ( - 2)
