Explain why your cells must make mRNA instead of making a protein directly from the DNA.

cells must make mRNA because it contains the information transcribed from DNA. the information carried by mRNA is decoded into a sequence of amino acids and results in a polypeptide chain that folds into a protein. the genetic information from the genes (DNA) can not be converted into a functional part of a cell without transcription to create mRNA.
