URGENT PLEASE HELP!!!!! Which equation represent the line which passes through the point (-3, -4) and has a slope of -2?

a. y=-2x-10

b. y=-2x+2

A:-2x-10

Explanation:

Think of it like this for the y coordinate:

y=-2x-10

y=-2(-3)-10

y=6-10

y=-4

you have now found the y coordinate and by this point should be able to tell without doing the rest but if you are unsure you can do this now that you know y:

-4=-2x-10

+10 to both sides

(6=-2x)/2

(-x=3)*-1 as x is negative

x=-3

so now you know the x and y coordinate that it can pass through which proves that this is the correct choice.
