So I worked this out like this:

Protein bars: 0.70 * 3 = 2.1

Magezines: 2.50

734% are the taxes as it was written. 734% decimal version is 7.34.

This is what I did next:

7.34 plus 2.1 times 2 equals 18.88. So, you can buy 2 protein bars.

7.34 plus 2.50 times 2 equals 19.68. So, you can also buy 2 magazines!
