The value of angle BAC in the figure is 40 degrees

How to find angle BAC

Angle BAC is solved using Hypotenuse Leg theorem. The theorem assures that the two triangles are congruent. Hence, we have the equation

(5x + 10) = (7x + 6)

5x - 7x = 6 - 10

-2x = -4

x = 2

Substituting to find the value of the angle

= 5x + 10

= (5(2) + 10

= 20

Angle BAC is twice angle 20, hence we have that 20 * 2 = 40 degrees
