Answer: x = -2/3 , 1

Explanation:

step 1 (hardest step!) factor by grouping:

(3x + 2)(x-1) = 0

the rest is easy:

3x + 2 = 0 or (x-1) = 0

Solve each for x:

3x + 2 = 0

x = -2/3

x-1 = 0

x = 1

So your 2 solutions for x are -2/3 and 1
