Write the meaning for this quote?

“I was not tired physically, or no more tired than I usually was at the end of a working day. I was not old, although some people have an image of me as being old then. I was forty-two. No, the only tired I was, was tired of giving in” - Rosa Parks

Answer:

She was weary of being pushed around. She didn't want to just have to listen to the rules and go with the flow. She says she was not anymore tired than normal. When she talked about not being old and others looking at her if she is she means those younger than her. Everyone has a different opinion and if they are younger than her by a decade or two they most likely thought she was old. She was weary of giving in, of having to listen to all the rules, she was tired of not fighting or giving up in the fight.
