a: The four amino acids present in the above chain are:

  • Alanine (Ala)
  • Arginine (Arg)
  • Aspartic acid (Asp)
  • Serine (Ser)

B: The classification of the above amino acids as nonpolar, polar acidic, polar basic, or polar neutral are:

  • Alanine: Nonpolar
  • Arginine: Polar basic
  • Aspartic acid: Polar acidic
  • Serine: Polar neutral

C: The side of the amino acid is Right side

Note that The C-terminus of an amino acid chain is the side that has a free carboxylic acid group (-COOH). So, the C-terminus is on the right side of the image of the amino acid chain.
