Answer is y = x - 2

Step by step

Slope intercept formula is
y = mx + b

We know m = 1 slope
We know b = -2 y intercept

So

y = x - 2

(*note, we don’t have to put the 1 in front of the x because it is assumed. If it helps you learn this concept, you can write it as
y = 1x - 2
