GIVEN :-

  • Coordinates of first point on the line are (2,3)

  • Coordinates of second point on the line are (6,4)

TO FIND :–

  • Slope of a line

Formula :-

⠀⠀⠀⠀
\boxed{\sf{m = ( y_(2) - y_(1) )/( x_(2) - x_(1)) }}

where,

  • m = slope of a line

  • x2 and y2 = (6,4)

  • x1 and y1 = (2,3)

By substituting values according to the formula we get,

\sf{⟹m = (4 - 3)/(6 - 2) }

\sf{⟹m = (1)/(4) }

Hence, The line of a slope(m) is ¼

Answer:

1/4

Explanation:

We can find the slope by using the slope formula

m = ( y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

= ( 4 -3)/( 6-2)

= 1/4
