Explanation:

AC is the combination of AB and BC.

so, AB + BC = AC

(2n - 1) + (4n + 5) = 10n - 12

2n - 1 + 4n + 5 = 10n - 12

6n + 4 = 10n - 12

4 = 4n - 12

16 = 4n

n = 4
