I am not sure if this is correct as the wording of your problem was confusing. If my work does not match up with what you should have, please comment the actual problem so I can fix it. Thank you.

I have included two different possibilties of what you are asking

~ Possible way one ~

[Given]

(y)/(2+x)

[Plug-in]

(2)/(2+1)

(2)/(3)

[Answer]

(2)/(3), 0.6 repeating, or 0.67

~ Possible way two ~

[Given]

(y)/(2)+x

[Plug-in]

(2)/(2)+1

1 + 1

[Answer]

2
