Answer:
1 = 157°
2 = 23°
Explanation:
because the angles are supplementary, their angles will add up to 180°
set up the equation (2x-3)+(-5x+423)=180
combine like terms to get -3x+420=180
subtract 420 from 180 to get -3x=-240
divide by three and get x=80
now plug in 80 for x in both equations
