How to graph the linear equation?
To graph any line we need to find two points that lie on the line, once we get the points, we can plot them in a coordinate axis, then draw a line that passes through the two points.
First, the line y-2=3/4(x+3) is in point-slope form, so we can see that (-3, -2) is in the line.
Now evaluate the equation in x = 1
y - 2 = (3/4)*(1 + 3)
y - 2 = (3/4)*4
y - 2 = 3
y = 3 + 2
y = 5
So we also have the point (1, 5)
