Note that if I were the Chairperson of Women's Temperance Movement, three points I would make during my speech are:
- Promoting Family Stability
- Economic Empowerment; and
- Protecting the Well-being of Women and Children.
With regard to point 1 above, the Eighteenth Amendment fosters safer and more harmonious family environments by addressing alcohol-related domestic violence and economic hardships.
Wtih respect to point 2, one can say that prohibition supports economic growth by reducing alcohol-related issues, leading to a more productive and reliable workforce and increased employment opportunities.
Finally in the third point, the amendment safeguards women and children from the negative impacts of alcohol abuse, diminishing the risks of domestic violence and child neglect associated with excessive drinking.
