In a parallelogram

opposite angles are cingruent (equal ), then

4x + 2 = 86 ( subtract 2 from both sides )

4x = 84 ( divide both sides by 4 )

x = 21

consecutive angles are supplementary ( sum to 180° )

2y + 4 and 86 are consecutive angles , then

2y + 4 + 86 = 180 , that is

2y + 90 = 180 ( subtract 90 from both sides )

2y = 90 ( divide both sides by 2 )

y = 45

and

z - 7 and 86 are cosecutive angles , so

z - 7 + 86 = 180 , that is

z + 79 = 180 ( subtract 79 from both sides )

z = 101
