y = 5x + 1

y = 5x +
(-3)/(2)

When the slopes are the same (5) the equations are parallel.

2y - 10x +3 = 0 Add 10 to both sides of the equation

2y -3 = 10x Add three to both sides of the equation

2y = 10x -3 Divide all the way through by 2

y = 5x +
