The pulse is the expansion and recoiling effect felt when measuring the arterial blood flow near the body surface. It is an indicator of heart rate and can provide valuable information about a person's cardiovascular health.

The pulse is the expansion and recoiling effect felt when measuring the arterial blood flow near the body surface. It is usually palpated manually by placing the fingertips across an artery, such as the radial artery in the wrist or the common carotid artery in the neck. The pulse is an indicator of heart rate and can provide valuable information about a person's cardiovascular health.
