To the nearest 1p, the average amount of money spent per customer in May is £6.73.

To calculate the average amount of money spent per customer in May, we need to know the total amount of money spent and the number of customers.

The total amount of money spent in April is £49,550.

The number of customers in May increased by 16% compared to April, which means there were:

6400 + (6400 * 0.16)

= 7344 customers in May.

Therefore, the average amount of money spent per customer in May is £49,550 / 7344 = £6.72.

To the nearest 1p, the average amount of money spent per customer in May is £6.73.
