I would answer using the mx+b = y equation. To find the slope, use the equation of m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1).
You can use any 2 pairs of values in the table.
(2-1)/(9-7) = 1/2. Since there is a cost of the container, we will need to find the y-intercept by choosing a coordinate and then plugging it in the equation.
(1,7)
1 = 7(1/2) + b
1 = 3.5 + b
-2.5 = b
They charge for the container is 2.5 dollars and will be consistent.
Since 1 oz = 1/16 lb, then 16 oz = 1 lb
1 oz = 1/2 dollars
16 oz = 8 dollars
I don’t know if I got it right but I hope it helps
