Answer: Choice D only

Reason

Equations of the form y = mx+b have slope m.

For example, y = 2x+5 has slope m = 2.

Recall that parallel lines have equal slopes, but different y intercepts.

The slope of y = (2/3)x - 7 is m = 2/3. So we'll be looking for answer choices that have slope 2/3. Of the list, only choice D fits the description.

Choices A,B,C have slopes 3/2, -3, and -2/3 in that exact order. So we can cross them off the list.

A graphing tool like GeoGebra can be used to confirm the answer is correct. I use it all the time. Desmos is another option.
