Given equation,

→ 2 + |t + 6| = 12

Now the value of t will be,

→ 2 + |t + 6| = 12

→ 2 + t + 6 = 12 || → 2 -(t + 6) = 12

→ t + 8 = 12 || → -t - 4 = 12

→ t = 12 - 8 || → -t = 12 + 4

→ [ t = 4 ] || → [ t = -16 ]

Hence, value of t is 4 (or) -16.
