speeds. How much faster was the faster person traveling?

Answer:

Speed at which Carley was cycling at

= 72 miles ÷ 3 hours

= 24 miles/hour

Speed at which Catie was driving at

= 132 miles ÷ 2 hours

= 66 miles/hour

66 miles/hour - 24 miles/hour = 42 miles/hour

∴ The faster person, Catie, was travelling 42 miles/hour faster than Carley, the slower person.
