Answer:

Slope = 2

Y - intercept = -7, or (0,-7) <= which ever format works

Explanation:

Slope-Intercept Form: y = mx + b

  • y = output
  • x = input
  • m = slope
  • b = y - intercept

Convert to y=mx + b format

We have to conert this into y = mx + b format

  • 2(x - 3) = y + 1
  • y + 1 = 2(x - 3)
  • y + 1 = 2x - 6
  • y = 2x - 7

Now that we have the equation y = 2x - 7, we can see that the slope is 2, or m, and the y - intercept is (0,-7)
