The value of NP in the diagram is 11 units

Congruent triangles are triangles with equal side length and equal corresponding angles. The side length of congruent triangles must be equal.

The diagram above consist of three congruent triangles.

Since point M is a bisector of line JL and N is a bisector of JK, this means that;

MN = 1/2( LK)

MN = LP = PK

and

NP = 1/2( JL)

therefore

NP = ML = JM

NP = 11 units

Therefore, The value of NP in the diagram is 11units
