x is an exterior angle. According to the exterior angles theorem, the exterior angle is equal to the interior angles that are not adjacent to it.

106 is an exterior angle too, if we want to transform it into an interior angle:

180-106= 74

x=74 + 23

x = 97

Answer : 97°
