Step-by-step explanation: so assume the angle next to angle y is angle m, and the one to the left of z is angle u.

angle x = 180 - (m + u) (sum of angles in a triangle theorem)

so we need to find m and u

m = 180-y => m = 180-120 = 60

u = 360-z => u = 360-283 = 77

x = 180 - (77+60) => x = 180-137 = 43

thus out answer, x = 43°

Ok so we know that a straight line is 180 and so

y+something=180

180-120=60

so that part of it is 60

then we know that all the way around a circle is 360 so

z+somethine=360

360-283=77

and all the angles equals 180 so

60+70+x=180

add

130+x=180

-130

x=50
