CBE=40=ABD

x+90+40=180

add

x+130=180

x=50

Explanation:

∠ DBA = ∠ CBE = 40° ( vertically opposite angles )

The sum of the angles in a triangle = 180° , then

x + 40° + 90° = 180°

x + 130° = 180° ( subtract 130° from both sides )

x = 50°
