Quadrant 1 is when the x axis and y axis is both positive.

Quadrant 2 is when the x axis is negative and the y value is positive.

Quadrant 3 is when the x axis and y axis is negative.

Quadrant 4 is when the x axis is positive and y value is negative.

When the point is on the x axis that means it y intercept is 0.

When the point on the y axis, it x intercept is 0.

2,4 is in quadrant 1

0,-3 is y axis

-1,1/2 is in the second quardrant
