1 hour = 60 minutes
60 minutes programme - 42 minutes actual = 18 minutes commercials
18/60 = commercials
60 / 6 = 10
18 / 6 = 3
3/10 = commercials
100 / 10 = 10
3 x 10 = 30%
The answer is:
30% of the show is set aside for commericials
